Today was the intern's first day of training. I'm not going to give his name or anything, but we decided to start things off with a 6am departure.
Here is a photo of Trevor with the intern, otherwise known as "minion," or "slave." Doesn't he look happy?
Here is a photo of Ben displaying full concentration while fueling his snow vehicle.
Mostly cloudy with 60% chance of 2-4 inches?
The new snowfall amount was looking slim.. but ended up being more than we needed.
Here is another shot of the intern. He is caught mentally & physically preparing for his dragging initiation.
Instead of going to buy lunch & coffee, being that we were 20 miles out there, the intern was ordered to cut & stack blocks. He then was required to wait for maneuvers to be landed. Shortly thereafter, he landed a cork 5, not to mention first try, displaying quite rapid progress in his training. His status as an intern was lifted, but this only lasted all of about 5 minutes until he ate shit 4 times in a row. Maybe next time minion, maybe next time.
Don't think this road will be drivable for a bit..
Stay tuned tomorrow for internship day 2..
